CELEBREX 200MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Celecoxib, sulfonamides, aspirin and/or other NSAIDs. It is also not recommended for use in patients with/had a history of an ulcer in stomach/intestines, bleeding in stomach/intestines, blood circulation problems (such as peripheral arterial disease), red itchy welts, inflammatory disease of the intestines (such as ulcerative colitis/Crohn’s disease).
The medicine is also not indicted for use in patients suffering from lung problems (such as asthma), heart diseases (such as heart failure, recent heart attack, heart block), severe liver disease (such as advanced hepatic insufficiency) and/or kidney disease (such as advanced renal insufficiency).

Celebrex 200mg Tablets is indicated for the treatment of various painful conditions such as:
1. Severe forms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis
2. Post-traumatic arthritis
3. Systemic lupus erythematosus
4. Primary dysmenorrhoea
5. Reiter to USP and OASIS
The recommended dosage of Celebrex 200mg Tablets is one 200mg tablet taken once a day.
If you are using the full strength dose, do not exceed the recommended dose.
The recommended starting dose of Celebrex 200mg Tablets is one 200mg tablet every 2 or 3 days, with the maximum dosage of 400mg per day. If you experience muscle pain or tenderness during the first few weeks of treatment, stop taking the medicine and contact your doctor immediately.
If you are taking the dose with a reduced dose (200mg tablet), talk to your doctor as soon as possible about changing the dose.
If you are taking the dose at the same time every day, please follow the dosage instructions shown on the label of this medicine.
The dosage of Celebrex 200mg Tablets is determined by a doctor.
The usual starting dose is one 200mg tablet every 2 or 3 days, with the maximum dosage of 400mg per day. For osteoarthritis, if needed, the dosage may be increased to 800mg every day. If you are using the dose with a reduced dose (200mg tablet), the dose may be increased to 400mg every day.
For rheumatoid arthritis, the usual starting dose is 800mg a day, divided into 2 or 3 doses. The maximum recommended dose is 1200mg per day with the maximum daily dose of 1200mg.
For systemic lupus erythematosus, the usual starting dose is 400mg a day, taken as a single dose of 1200mg every 12 hours. If pain or swelling persists after a dose of 400mg a day, the dose may be increased to 800mg every 12 hours.

-Headache: Feel faint or dizziness, especially during the first few days of treatment
-Dizziness: Feel lightheaded or faint when rising from a lying or sitting position
-Insomnia: Difficulty sleeping or other sleep disorder, such as insomnia or nightmares
-Increased urination: Increased the time it takes for the medication to take effect
-Swelling of feet, ankles, or lower legs: Dry or swollen ankles or legs
-Allergic reactions: See also Precautions section
-Nausea or vomiting: Diarrhea, constipation, nausea, and stomach pain
-Increased or decreased blood pressure: In case of high blood pressure, dizziness, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, swelling, or difficulty breathing
-Changes in the amount of urine: In case of severe dehydration, the dose may be increased to a maximum of 4 tablets per day
-Pain or trouble urinating: In case of painful urination, the dose may be decreased to 2 tablets per day
-Liver problems: Problems with the liver, including jaundice, hepatitis, and dark urine
-Increased blood cell counts: Increased the number of abnormal cells in the blood
